What we collect, and why

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the name of your business, your message and, if you give it, your phone number. We also record which page you sent it from and when. We use these details to read your enquiry and reply to you.

When you book a call, you do so on Cal.com. The details you enter there, such as your name, email address and chosen time, are shared with us so the call can take place.

We don't ask for more than we need, we don't sell your details, and we don't use them for marketing unless you ask us to.

Our legal basis

We process your details because you asked us to get in touch. That is a step taken at your request before any possible agreement with us (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We also have a legitimate interest in answering and following up on business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

If we go on to work together, we keep the information needed to deliver that work and to meet our legal obligations, such as bookkeeping (Article 6(1)(c)).

How your enquiry is handled

Form submissions go to an automated workflow that we run. It checks the submission and uses an AI model to sort the enquiry by type. It sends you a short acknowledgement by email, which may include one or two sentences written by the AI model about what you described. It then notifies us and keeps a record so we can follow up.

The sorting only helps us organise enquiries. No decision with legal or similarly significant effect is made about you automatically, and any reply beyond the acknowledgement comes from us.

Who else handles your data

We use these service providers. Each processes your details only on our behalf and under a data processing agreement:

• n8n (n8n GmbH, Germany): runs the workflow that receives the form. Hosted in the EU.
• Anthropic (Anthropic, PBC, USA): the AI model that sorts the enquiry.
• Google Workspace (Google, USA and Ireland): email, and the spreadsheet where enquiries are recorded.
• Slack (Slack Technologies, USA): an internal notification that an enquiry has arrived.
• Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., USA): booking calls.
• Our website hosting provider: delivers this website and, like any web server, briefly processes technical data such as your IP address.

Some of these providers process data outside the EU/EEA, mainly in the USA. Those transfers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and otherwise by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry or booking doesn't lead to working together, we delete your details no later than 12 months after our last contact with you.

If it does, we keep what's needed for as long as we work together. Accounting records are kept for five years, as the Danish Bookkeeping Act (bogføringsloven) requires.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies. Fonts, images and video are served from our own site. If you choose a language, that choice is remembered only in your own browser. Cal.com is a separate website with its own cookie and privacy policy, which applies when you book.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also restrict how we use it, object to it, and receive a copy in a portable format.

To use any of these rights, write to qh@mrbrightside.agency. We respond within one month. You can also reply REMOVE to our acknowledgement email to have your enquiry deleted.

If you think we've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, datatilsynet.dk, or to the data protection authority where you live.

Changes

If we change how we handle your details, we'll update this page and the date below.
